Ehsan Danish has portrayed real life characters with artistic craftsmanship. The misery of the poor and the labor class has always been reflected in his poetry with a strong emotional appeal. Yet the careful selection of vocabulary and the grandeur of the Urdu diction grants universality to his poetry in all times and places.
