Ehsan Danish was a 20th Century Poet-Laborer who wrote revolutionary poems for the laborers and the poor and gained much popularity as poet, writer, linguist and lexicographer. He was awarded the title of Poet-Laborer in recognition of his life-long services and achievements Urdu Language and Literature.
