This introduction is about Ehsan-Danish (Ehsan-Bin-Danish) who was a poet, writer, linguist and lexicographer of 20th century. Ehsan-Danish was born in India in a poor family and later migrated to Lahore, Pakistan to earn his livelihood. Ehsan-Danish (Ehsan-Bin-Danish) penned down over 100 books on poetry, prose, linguistics and lexicography. Abject poverty, hardships of life and miseries in earning his livelihood could not inch Ehsan-Danish him away from book reading. He was awarded the Sitara - e - Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan due to his matchless contributions to Urdu language & literature.
